CALLING ALL VETERANS:
Any veteran, previously served or currently serving, we would like to honor you at this year's Veterans Day Program. Past or current residents of Rock County, if you would be willing to record a quick video of yourself stating your Name, Base & Rank, if you were deployed and where, number of years served. and any other information you wish to provide, we would like to honor you for your service. The videos will be shown at the program at RCHS gym on Friday, November 10th @ 2:30pm.

Rock County High School had nine students take a total of thirteen tests at the Chadron State College Scholastics Contest held on October 25th. RCHS did not take enough tests to qualify for a team score in Division IV. There were over 30 schools competing in five divisions with approximately 900 students in attendance, the following RCHS students placed in the top 25%:
Carter Buell - 1st place medal in Environmental Science, 3rd place medal in Algebra II, and 5th in General Biology.
Dylan Benemerito - 8th in Advanced Mathematics
Trey Anthony - 12th in General Biology
Reminder there will be Quiz Bowl practice tonight, November 1st, at 3:30 for grades 9-12 in the high school library.

New basketball rule changes.
JH Quiz Bowl will meet this Monday at 3:30 p.m. in the library, and the High School Quiz Bowl will meet Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in the library.
The RCHS Fall Concert will be live-streamed on the Rock County Facebook page starting at 7:00
BGS will not be having Running Club after school today.
Attention Fine Arts Club:
NECC Spring Registration opens on Nov. 6th. Mrs. Corkle will be at RCHS on Wednesday, Nov. 1st from 8-10 am to advise students needing assistance.
Attention HS Girls Basketball Players: There will be a short meeting tomorrow after school in Springview for any KP girls wanting to go out for basketball. On Monday, there will be a meeting for any RC girls that are planning on going out for basketball. If you are unable to make a meeting, please contact Coach Friese.

Attention Boys Basketball Players: We will have a short meeting Wednesday after school in Bassett for the Rock County players and Thursday in Springview for the Keya Paha kids. Please make every effort to be there or get in touch with us if you cannot make it!
CSC Scholastic Contest students will be leaving the school at 5:30 a.m. this Wednesday morning (25th) and should be back around 5:00 p.m. Students need completed activity slips to attend.
JH girls basketball practice will now begin on Tuesday this week at Rock County.
BGS will have their First Quarter Perfect Attendance, Honor Roll, and Principal List Assembly Tuesday, October 24th at 3:20 in the BGS gym. It will also be live-streamed on the Rock County Facebook page.
