Friday's homecoming theme was "Headin' Home" and students were asked to show their school spirit. The winners at BGS were Maverick and Camden!
10th-12th grade students interested in a career in the medical field are encouraged to come to the art room on Wednesday, Sept. 6th at 1:45. Staff from Avera St. Anthony's Hospital will be here to provide information about their "Scrubs Camp" that will be held at the hospital in O'Neill on October 11th. Please let Mr. Dohrman know if you want to attend the meeting in the art room.
Reminder of Parent Mileage Reimbursement eligibility:
Family residence must exceed 4 miles from the school
Must have students in grades K-8
If optioning into our district, the student must qualify for Free Meals.
Monthly Mileage forms are available on the school website.
Forms are due to the high school by the first Wednesday of each month.

"Travelin' to Texas" is the Homecoming theme for Wednesday. Our dress-up winners at BGS are Axel and Gavin!
The Ainsworth Cross Country meet will begin at the regular scheduled time of 4:00PM tomorrow, August 31st.

Day 2 of Homecoming week was "Livin' in LA". The winners of this dress up day at BGS were Ryan and Hudsynn.
Reminder for 7-12th grade students: there’s an FFA meeting tonight in the multi at 7pm. Supper will be provided!

BGS kicked off Homecoming week by "Day Trippin to DC" and wore Red, White and Blue. Mondays dress up winner are Piper and Tinley.
*NEW Parents Night Protocol*
Starting this Fall (2023) North Central will start conducting Parents Night differently. Only the Seniors and their Parents will come onto the Floor/out onto mid-Field to be recognized. All underclassmen and managers will stand along the Sideline of the gym floor/End zone on the football field and step forward when their name is announced. When the athletes name is announced parents, in the stands, should stand up and be recognized as well.

A successful first meet Thursday in Valentine for our high school and junior high cross country teams - the HS Girls team came home with the 1st place plaque, HS Boys team placed runner-up, and JH Boys team placed 1st. Way to go runners! Not pictured: Keira Taylor.
