Rock County Public Schools

Due to the home football game vs St. Mary's High School, Rock County Public Schools will dismiss at 12:00 PM on Friday, October 10. Lunch will be served prior to dismissal for all students.

Thank you from the Sophomore class to everyone who supported our Donkey Pie Bingo fundraiser. We will have another game on October 10th at the home football game, and squares are available. Find a Sophomore to purchase a square.

The bus for Scrubs Camp in O'Neill tomorrow will depart at 8:00. The bus is expected to return between 3:15 and 3:30.

The BGS 1st Graders when to the Rock County Hospital and Long Term Care on September 19th. They learned the parts of their blood, what the ED looks like, how fast an x-ray shows up on the screen and got to look into a microscope.

The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) and Currency are proud to sponsor Believers & Achievers, a state-wide awards program that recognizes Nebraska’s future leaders. Believers & Achievers was designed to reward high school students in Nebraska for their excellence in academics and participation in NSAA activities. Those students who show a commitment to citizenship, school involvement and community projects will be honored in the Believers & Achievers program.

NSAA member schools were asked to nominate individuals to be honored. From those nominees submitted, Currency and the NSAA will select and honor 48 high school seniors throughout the 2025-26 academic year. A poster will be produced and sent to each member high school for display. The 48 individuals selected will be honored with an award at an NSAA Championship. All 48 Believers & Achievers will be invited to attend an end-of-the-year banquet, celebrating their achievements. During the banquet, Currency will announce individual scholarship winners.

Congratulations to our Rock County Public School winners. They have moved on to be considered as one of the top 48 students to be selected and honored by Currency and the NSAA.
