HOMECOMING PEP RALLY - "TACO" 'Bout A Victory There will be a kick-off to Homecoming week pep rally this Sunday, September 12 at Bassett Fire Hall! All Rock and Keya Paha County students in 9-12 grade are invited to a meal starting at 5:00 pm with games to follow. The community is welcome to join at 6:00 for the Football Jersey Auction hosted by the NC Sports Club. The grand finale of the rally will be the Water Fights for students sponsored by the Bassett Volunteer Fire Department! Dress accordingly or bring a change of clothes!

KSB Presents: Digital Citizenship Coady Pruett of KSB Law was in the house Tuesday, August 31 to present to the sixth through twelfth grade students at Rock County Public Schools on digital citizenship. Mr. Pruett discussed proper social media use (both on school grounds and off school grounds), cyber-bullying, as well as former court cases around these types of issues. The presentations were done in two groups with the first presentation geared toward the sixth through eighth graders and the second presentation for the high school students. Upon completion of the high school presentation, students asked questions to provide clarity on the subject matter. Senior Levi Lewis stated, “When Coady Pruett comes in I feel like it’s a good opportunity for kids to learn what they can and can’t do. I feel it makes the kids a little scared of what social media can hold on you and will come back to get you in the future, especially if you want to go to college. It’s a good learning experience for us to make Rock County High School stronger.” Rock County Public Schools also obtained permissions to record the presentation for future use with students as needed.

If you haven't sent your money for the Pink Out T-Shirts, please do as soon as possible. The shirts are $25 each and the checks can be made out to Springview Spitfires. You can drop your payment off at the High School.

The CWC Volleyball Triangular on Thursday, September 9th will be Varsity only. CWC does not have enough athletes to play the JV triangular and the Varsity triangular at the same time.

FALL SPORTS PARENT'S NIGHT INFORMATION Cross Country will be during the Homecoming Football game September 17th at RC. Parents will be announced at halftime of the game. Football and Volleyball will be October 14th @ RC with games against West Holt. *VB will be announced after the JV volleyball game, prior to the start of the varsity game. (C-Team, JV, and Varsity will all be played.) *Football will be prior to the game.

The Junior Class will be having a bake sale on Thursday, Sept 2nd during the volleyball triangular with West Holt and Burwell. Each Junior needs to have their cake raffle items to the school by 5PM on Thursday. All proceeds are going to help with Prom.

BGS Parents - Reminder all students need to be dropped off on the north side of the building and enter through the front doors to have their temperature checked before students go to the playground in the morning.

LOST AND FOUND: These items were found in the bus, most likely from state track. If these are yours or your trackster's 2 pairs of spikes, 2 chairs, sweat shirt and Nebraska blanket, they are at the high school office. Thank you!
