The Pre-Calculus Class has been studying Trigonometry and the Unit Circle. This week, the class created ‘The Sine Curve’ using the Unit Circle and spaghetti noodles.

Congratulations to the Rock County Speech team for their 5th place finish in Burwell. Hannah Keller placed 1st in Informative, Carson Shaw 3rd in Poetry, Kyra Anthony 5th in Persuasive, and Dawson Deibler 5th in Poetry and Novice champion in Persuasive. Ella Mitchell, Lily Gudgel, and Olivia Strand received superior ribbons for their performances.

Attention 8th-11th grade students: FEMA created the Youth Preparedness Council in 2012 to bring together young leaders from across the country who are interested in supporting disaster preparedness nationally and locally. The YPC offers an opportunity for teens with a passion for preparedness to engage with FEMA to share ideas and feedback, grow their leadership skills, and support resilience in their communities through preparedness projects. They participate in an annual virtual summit with FEMA leaders and preparedness professionals to network and learn more about the field. The 2022 application period is now open.
