Attention 8th-11th grade students: FEMA created the Youth Preparedness Council in 2012 to bring together young leaders from across the country who are interested in supporting disaster preparedness nationally and locally. The YPC offers an opportunity for teens with a passion for preparedness to engage with FEMA to share ideas and feedback, grow their leadership skills, and support resilience in their communities through preparedness projects. They participate in an annual virtual summit with FEMA leaders and preparedness professionals to network and learn more about the field. The 2022 application period is now open. Interested Students can apply online at YPC Application

Calling all students in 7th-12th grade! Do you have a secret talent? Maybe you play the banjo or you're really great at stand up comedy. Do you ride the unicycle or know how to recite Shakespeare? Whatever your talent, we'd love to have you! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ALREADY BE IN AN ART TO PARTICIPATE. Sign up outside the art room by February 11th! If you have questions chat with Kustka!
