Attention RCHS Parents and Guardians
RCHS Families: The main doors will be open for the Back to School Open House tonight.
RCHS Parents: If your student is planning to take any online UNL High School course this semester, please email Mrs. Fischer for approval by Friday, August 16th.
Parents of junior high and high school students, remember to either come to the high school office or send 35.00 per student for device fees so that your student can bring their school-issued device home.
The open house scheduled for Thursday, August 15 is for students and parents for back to school. This is not an open house for the public to come see the facilty work that has been done. That open house will be coming later. We will advertise it when it gets closer.
The Rock County School Board will hold it's regular monthly meeting tonight at 7:00 PM in the Rock County High School library. Anyone wishing to attend will need to enter through the south doors of the school and follow the signs to get to the library.
Rock County Public School does not provide this insurance, but if you're interested in the School Student Accident Insurance Program provided by Student Assurance Services for your child, you can go to www.sas-mn.com for more information.
Rock County Public Schools will be destroying special education student records for students who last attended Rock County Public Schools during the 2018-2019 academic year and who are no longer attending school. Be advised that according to Nebraska Rule 51 special education regulations, these records will be destroyed after September 15, 2024 unless the school is notified in writing or in person by the parent or guardian that they wish to maintain their records. Written requests for records may be made to Clisty Taylor, Rock County Schools, PO Box 448, Bassett, NE 68714. Please call 402-684-3855 with any questions.
RCHS is still under construction. To access the high school office, use the south doors and follow the red arrow signs toward the office area.
This is just a reminder. If you do not have your physical turned in before conditioning starts Monday morning, you WILL NOT be able to participate. The high school office is open until 3:00pm today or can be turned into Mrs. Fischer Monday before the bus leaves or conditioning starts.
The weight room will not be open for morning weights next week August 5th-9th.
Remember to get your sports physicals to the office; conditioning is about to start!
