Rock County Public Schools will be destroying special education student records for students who last attended Rock County Public Schools during the 2018-2019 academic year and who are no longer attending school. Be advised that according to Nebraska Rule 51 special education regulations, these records will be destroyed after September 15, 2024 unless the school is notified in writing or in person by the parent or guardian that they wish to maintain their records. Written requests for records may be made to Clisty Taylor, Rock County Schools, PO Box 448, Bassett, NE 68714. Please call 402-684-3855 with any questions.
RCHS is still under construction. To access the high school office, use the south doors and follow the red arrow signs toward the office area.
This is just a reminder. If you do not have your physical turned in before conditioning starts Monday morning, you WILL NOT be able to participate. The high school office is open until 3:00pm today or can be turned into Mrs. Fischer Monday before the bus leaves or conditioning starts.
The weight room will not be open for morning weights next week August 5th-9th.
Remember to get your sports physicals to the office; conditioning is about to start!

Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 8:00-12:00 the telephone system at both Bassett Grade School and Rock County High School will be off due to construction.
We are one month from the first day of school; the summer has gone fast! If you have not yet registered your student, please visit our website for our fill-in forms or contact the high school office to have forms sent to your address. Be sure to take note of the First Day of School dates and times.
Attention! Entry to the high school for the board meeting tonight will be through the south doors by the kitchen. The meeting will be in the library and there will be signage posted to help direct to this location. The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm.

The second session of BEEP starts tomorrow (7-9) and will run through Thursday from 9:00-11:00 a.m. We will use the east doors for arrival and dismissal.
North Central Football Camp will be held Monday and Tuesday this week July 8th and 9th and next Monday and Tuesday July 15th and 16th. Camp is for all JH & HS students and camp is held in Springview. Camp runs from 6:00pm-8:30pm. Transportation will be leaving Bassett no later than 5:20pm. Please respond on team reach if attending so we know whether we are taking a van or a bus. If you do not have team reach, please let me know and I will get you added. - Mrs. Fischer
Online enrollment forms are ready to fill out! Every student returning or newly enrolling in school must complete each form; to find the forms, go to rockcountyschools.org. The forms are found under the heading "Back to School Form." I have attached an easy-to-follow guide to show which forms need to be filled out for each school. Because of construction, if you prefer paper forms, please call Ginger at 402-684-3411, and I will send you a set of enrollment forms.
