The Rock County Booster club is hosting a supper for high school students, coaches, and sponsors of all winter activities including basketball, wrestling, One-Acts, FFA, Speech, Quiz Bowl, Choir, and Band. It will be Thursday, January 24th, in the Multipurpose room after sports practice is over, approximately 6:15 pm.
The American Legion Auxiliary Cornhusker Girls State Applications will be distributed to junior girls on Monday, Jan. 14. Completed applications need to be returned to Mr. Dohrman ASAP
Parents - I have received an email from the North Central District Health Department stating that the state has seen a significant uptick in positive influenza cases. If your child has had any Influenza like symptoms (fever, sore throat, body aches) please get them into the clinic to get them tested, or keep them home until symptoms subside. If they have tested positive, keep in mind the recommended time home is up to 5 + days to prevent spread due to contagious period.

Crane River Theater Workshop
The Bassett Arts Council would like to sponsor up to 4 students to attend the Crane River Theater Actor's Workshop. The workshop is Monday, February 4 from 9:00-3:30 in Kearney. Students will participate in their choice of three sessions offered in acting, dance, stage combat, or musical theater. If interested, contact Ms. Keber by Jan. 18.
A JV Basketball Tournament has been added to the schedule. It is this Saturday, Jan. 12 @ Niobrara. Both teams will play at 10am. They are running two gyms.
St. Joseph School is sponsoring a walking taco meal at the WH vs. North Central basketball games on Thursday, January 10th. Serving will begin at 5:00 pm and go until the food runs out. A free will donation will be taken up with proceeds to benefit St. Joseph School.
