Rock County Public Schools board of education approved the use of ESSER III funds to pay for windows and doors a few months ago and we are not seeing much progress in the project.  Right now, we are waiting on the architecture firm to send us bid specifications to approve so that we can then send the bids specifications out to contractors in our request for bids.  I am hoping to get this going over the next couple months with the intention of getting windows and doors replaced in the summer of 2022.

Over the past couple of years, we have also put resources into our grade school intervention programs.  These programs are designed to work with all kindergarten through third grade students at their levels in math and reading.  Fourth grade through sixth grade students get additional math and reading instruction as needed through our intervention programs.  These programs are not designated for any certain student, they are to enhance the instruction and education of all students at Bassett Grade School.  The district has been able to fund these interventions through federal grants such as ESSA, ESSER II, and ESSER III grants with supplemental funding from the general fund.
