May 11 tidbits

RC Superintendent Tidbits

We are officially in the final week of the school year at Rock County Public Schools. That
indicates that things are moving at about one hundred miles per hour around the school
buildings and will continue to do so until about May 18. We are working on finalizing
everything for the 2020-2021 school year while also getting into conversations and planning for
the 2021-2022 school year. I cannot express enough how grateful I am that we were able to
stay in person for our students and staff. A special thank you goes to the staff, students,
parents, school board, and community for doing everything it took to make this a reality.
BEEP details have been finalized and the program will run the weeks of June 7-11 and July 19-
23 from 9:00-11:00 am each day. A registration form has been sent out so please take a look at
this opportunity for your children aged preschool through fifth grade. Fun will be had by all
while hitting on some important instruction for our students.
Another positive for the summer is the Summer Food Service Program. We have been
approved to offer meals for all kids age 1-18 in Rock County. Please fill out the survey or let the
office know if you have children in this age group who would benefit from the program. Please
consider, this program is available to all kids regardless of parent income so it can be utilized by
all families.
