RC Superintendent Tidbits

Bassett Grade School is happy to announce that BEEP is back! With in-person learning this year,
we have decided to move forward with the BEEP program for our preschool through fifth grade
students for the 2021 summer. This program will run five days in June and another five days in
July with a variety of opportunities for the kids to learn and take part in. There will be four
stations for kids which will focus on reading skills, math skills, art, and an activity station.
Bassett Grade School staff will be working the program and are excited for the opportunity to
provide enrichment to our students in the summer months. More information will be sent out
as details get finalized.
Rock County was the home of the North Central Knights awards night this year. Students were
recognized for many honors including all-conference, all- state, and academic all-state awards.
Students were accompanied by parents, family, and friends as they received their awards.
Coaches spent time acknowledging the award winners as well as all participants while also
sharing some fun stories with the crowd. Coach Richey stole the show with stories of victories
over certain rivals in the area. Thanks to all who help with North Central activities.
