Our live-stream is up and running and thanks to some generous donations and a great staff, I feel like Rock County Public Schools provides one of the better experiences around when it comes to watching events.  If you would like to support our students and staff by watching them perform on our live-stream, the easiest way is to either download the Rock County Public Schools app or go to our website.  There will be a link to our events in either location for you to follow and enjoy the action.

As we move into the Christmas Holiday season, we have so much to be thankful for.  We are still in-person learning and we are still able to enjoy watching kids compete in various activities.  Sometimes we have to remember that this is a privilege, not a right as it can all be taken away from us pretty quickly.  We have rules we have to follow from the Governor as well as NSAA and it is important that we do that to ensure our students get a chance to compete.  NSAA has put out further guidance that takes us through the remainder of the first semester and the Christmas break and in that guidance, they state that not following the rules could result in “reprimands, fines or exclusion from the post season”.  I know I do not want to be the cause of any of these and I do not believe we have fans who would want to either.

I want to put out a thank you to the students, staff, parents, community members, and board members who have supported me during this first six months.  We have had many challenges and I feel like we have faced them head on and prevailed in most cases.  I look forward to continuing to work for our students, staff, and community to provide the best educational experiences possible during tough times.
